129,600 Tenants Receive Rental Support

Over 129,600 Portuguese tenants became eligible for extraordinary rental-support payments retroactive to January 2025.

According to the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU), as of August 28 2025, some 129,642 tenants will receive rental-support payments (retroactive to January) and 58,659 had their applications suspended due to inconsistencies.
